With the Formation of Irish Water  (www.water.ie), Ireland’s new water utility company in 2012, CÓRAS (‘system’ as Gaeilge) was established with the primary focus of becoming a long term trusted supplier to the Principal Contractors & Designers on the Irish Water – Domestic Metering Services and Works Contract. Based in the Ashbourne Industrial Estate, Ashbourne, County Meath our location ensures optimum national coverage for the Greater Dublin, Leinster and Midlands Regions.

 

The Directors of Coras, Conleth Greene, CEng MIEI and John Paul Greene have more than 30 years experience in the delivery of key water infrastructure and non infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and the UK. In recent years the management team have delivered key water pipeline design, construction and rehabilitation projects for Dublin City Council, Fingál County Council, South Dublin & Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Councils as well as Northumbrian Water, Affinity Water and United Utilities in the UK. Our team have been instrumental in the introduction and development of ‘on line’ replacement of live pipelines using technologies from across the spectrum of pipe-bursting, close fit lining, slip lining, directional drilling and open cut in conjunction with innovative pipe sterilising and testing methods.
